Cute star-shaped flowers, fragrant, and relatively pest-free, 'Saratoga' flowering tobacco is a great addition to the summer garden, thriving in full sun. Attractive to hummingbirds and pollinators, flowers range in color from white to pink/purple hues, reds, and sometimes lime green. Deadheading spent blooms will encourage new flowers, as does regular fertilizing. Technically a tender perennial, flowering tobacco is treated as an annual here in the Pacific NW.
