Myosotis sylvatica 'Victoria Blue Forget Me Not'

Forget-Me-Not flowers have long been a favorite in the spring garden, sending up short spikes of small baby blue, 5-lobed flowers. Though technically a short-lived perennial and quite hardy (down to -30 degrees), Forget-Me-Nots tend to self-seed easily, ensuring a return of these perky, cute flowers year after year. 'Victoria Blue' stays a tidy six to eight inch tall mound, spreading up to 12 inches. Though it needs sun for the most prolific blooms, it does better with some shade late in the day, and migrates well between sun and shade gardens in planters, hanging baskets, and borders. Left to its own devices, Forget-Me-Nots could naturalize so remove spent flowers quickly if you want to keep them contained.
