Named after noted Pacific NW horticulturalist Steven Antonow, this honey bush is a hardy perennial with a big summer presence.

Product Description

It says it in its botanical epithet, "major," and this honey bush provides a big presence in sunny summer gardens. 'Antonow's Blue' Honey Bush has striking blue green, tropical-looking leaves that can grow to 20 inches long on an upright, shrub-like plant that may eventually reach six feet tall and half as wide. In warmer climates, this specimen can grow even bigger. This big guy needs regular watering throughout the growing season and may send up deep red flower spikes in late spring to summer. As big as 'Antonow's Blue' Honey Bush can get, we have used small versions of this in large hanging crown baskets with spectacular results.
