This 'Durango' mix covers the color spectrum from bright yellows through deep reds, and many shades in between. A reliable summer annual, it forms a compact, upright mound about a foot tall and wide. It may be worth planting marigolds around the veggie garden as a natural bug repellent. Deer also don't like that distinctive marigold smell or the bitter leaves, so they may be deterred by these colorful garden annuals.
