Product Description
If a plant is so sensitive to our Pacific NW winters, why bother, you ask, to even try growing it? Because this mangave is so unique and cool looking, in spite of its preference for hot dry weather year-round. Because 'Mission to Mars' mangave thrives in our increasingly warmer summers, with its spiny leaves becoming almost pure red. Because this relatively new cross between a manfreda and an agave yields a stunning succulent with the color and faster growth rate of manfreda and the elegant form of an agave. And its a fabulous houseplant when the temps dip down into the 50s. Grow it in a pot for ease of moving it indoors or out, and you'll have an eye-catching specimen year round.
