This dwarf Asiatic lily is sure to attract your attention with its bright, bold flowers in early- to mid-summer. Happy in container planters or in the ground, 'Orange Matrix' does best in full sun. Large trumpet-shaped flowers grow on sturdy stems and make excellent cut flowers. Beware the anthers however; those dark fuzzy ends of the stamens can stain clothes and furniture!
Oh, and not to disappoint, but 'Matrix' flowers are not fragrant. The beauty of asiatic lilies is that they come back year after year with no particular effort on the gardener's part. Just plant them in a sunny spot with good drainage, and your job is done!
