Invariably, when someone pictures a cottage-style or English garden, shasta daisies are almost always included. Those big, bright flowers seem to bloom all summer and with deadheading, may continue into the fall. 'Angel Daisy' is a petite version of the classic shasta daisy, staying a tidy foot tall and wide, but covered with yellow-eyed daisies. Deer- and rabbit-resistant (if the critters have other more appealing options) and drought-tolerant once established in the ground, this variety is a dependable, low-maintenance perennial that returns year after year. Shasta daisies grow best in well-draining soil with lots of sun, so consider planting 'Angel Daisy' in container planters or hanging baskets.
