Product Description
Lavender is one of those garden staples that seems as though it's been around forever, and is appreciated for its drought tolerance, rugged year-round good looks, and of course, its fragrance. However, 'Otto Quast' Spanish lavender is a relatively new variety, discovered along the California coast in the 1980s. Its dark purple flower spikes are quite stunning against the gray-green foliage, blooming from April up into the fall, bearing pineapple shaped flowers. Spanish lavender typically is not suitable for culinary purposes; however, it can be dried for fragrant sachets and potpourris.
