This quirky looking plant is not actually a grass but is in the sedge family, and borderline hardy in the maritime Pacific NW.
Product Description
Product Description
We carry a lot of sedges in the nursery and use them as year-round "grasses" for hanging baskets, container planters, and along garden borders. While in same family as sedges, Fiber Optic Grass is totally unique in looks with fine, bright green grass-like foliage intermixed with minute, tufted flower spikes. Pop this one into container planters or hanging baskets for a downright playful look and lovely added texture. Fiber Optic Grass does well in the sun and requires regular watering. It also handles boggy areas so consider planting this around the edges of ponds.
