Part of Candytuft's botanical name, "sempervirens," translates roughly to always living, and this reliable low-growing perennial is indeed green year-round. Like most Candytufts, 'Snowsation' blooms best in full sun, but will do well in partial shade. This variety stays low - six to eight inches - and spreads about a foot wide, perfect for tucking in and around larger evergreens . It's an attractive addition to container planters or hanging baskets as well. Give it a light hair cut after blooming to keep the plant tidy looking, and you may get a second round of flowers.
