Hydrangea paniculata Tiny Quick Fire®

Gardeners with limited space often wrestle with settling for "something smaller" or trying to control the size of a plant through frequent pruning. Fans of Quick Fire® panicle hydrangeas have to do neither, as this series has three different sized specimens. While the original can stand a phenomenal eight feet tall, Tiny Quick Fire® is roughly one-third that size, and is a perfect candidate for container living or for placement toward the front of sunny garden borders. All three varieties bloom earlier than many other hydrangeas on new wood, with white flowers often covering the foliage. As fall approaches, white flowers take on pink, then reddish shades, and are excellent dried. If pruning is needed, do so in the fall or in late winter, before new growth emerges.
