Product Description
'Quick Fire' Panicle Hydrangea is touted as one of the earliest blooming panicle hydrangeas, with cone-shaped white flowers appearing in early July, then turning a rosy pink by the fall. This is a large shrub, eventually growing six to eight feet tall and wide, and unlike its mophead flower cousins (macrophylla), can handle full sun with ease. Although we tend to think of hydrangeas as shade tolerant, Quick Fire's blooms will remain white and not take on pink tones if it gets too much shade. The flowers are excellent in cut-flower arrangements and dry well. Blooms emerge from new growth, so any pruning should be done in late winter or early spring.
