Panicle hydrangeas not only tolerate full sun exposures, but actually produce more flowers in said conditions. Hydrangea paniculata Little Hottie® is built for a sunny location and due to its "daintier" dimensions, will fit in smaller spaces than some other varieties. Only three to five feet tall and wide, this variety can begin life in a large container planter before being moved out into the garden. Cone-shaped flowers emerge a greenish white before turning pure white at the height of summer. As the flowers age and temps begin to drop, they will take on pink tones before fall freeze.
