Hoya kerrii

This heart-shaped hoya is a favorite gift for Valentine's day and has even earned it the moniker of Valentine's Hoya, besides Sweetheart Hoya and Lucky Heart Hoya. Keep in mind that this succulent-like heart comes in two different forms - a single leaf that will never grow any bigger or vine as it would in its native habitat, and a vining form with a stem and multiple leaves. Both forms will live for years, but the leaf will remain just that, a single heart-shaped leaf. The vining form can reach several feet long and even flower, given time and the right growing conditions. That means lots of indirect light and thorough but infrequent watering.
