Hosta 'Stained Glass'

Large golden leaves with heavy venation and wide green margins make this plantain lily a standout in the summer shade garden. 'Stained Glass' hosta stays under two feet in height but may spread up to four feet wide at maturity. Fragrant lavender flowers are a bonus, attracting hummingbirds to the 30-inch tall scapes. This variety tolerates sun better than most hostas, though it prefers protection from the hot afternoon sun.
