The heavily rippled, almost vertical leaves remain unscathed for the most part, creating a vase-shaped mound, 14 to 18 inches tall and 12 to 16 inches wide. A narrow edge of yellow along the leaves only emphasizes the vertical profile of this intriguing variety of hosta. Lavender flowers emerge in summer, beckoning bees and hummingbirds to the shade garden.
