'Minuteman' hosta has a bold presence is the summer shade garden, with its broad, white-edged, deep green foliage. Moderately textured and slightly wavy leaves form a mound up to two feet tall and spread to about three feet wide. Lavender flowers appear on two-foot tall stalks in the summer, attracting hummingbirds to the nectar-rich blooms. 'Minuteman' adds wonderful color and texture to mixed shade baskets and container planters when small, and create eye-catching mounds when moved into the ground.
