Cinnamon and peach colored leaves create a wide mound of large, semi-evergreen foliage, with the characteristic red undersides.
Product Description
Product Description
Many varieties of coral bells that are popular here in the Pacific NW lean toward the dark purples and reds. 'Southern Comfort' is on the opposite side of the color wheel with new spring growth emerging in peach and cinnamon hues, adding a different color palette to the garden, and opening the door for other warm colors. By the end of summer, 'Southern Comfort' may become more amber or coppery in color, although the undersides of its large leaves have that pinkish-red coloring common in heucheras. White flower stalks appear in the late spring to summer, bringing on hummingbirds and other pollinators.
