Hebes seem to come in all colors, shapes, and sizes, so it's no wonder that most gardeners will find at least one hebe to suit their needs. 'Golden Katrina' is a variation on 'Katrina, (a variety with cream-edged, green, elliptic shaped leaves), adding a tinge of pink to those same variegated leaves. Gorgeous in mixed container planters, this hebe sends out tightly packed racemes of purple flowers during the summer, attracting pollinators and even hummingbirds. A bit less hardy than some of its cousins, 'Golden Katrina' can withstand temps down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit, adding wonderful color to the year-round garden.
