Caledonia Hebe, also known as Shrubby Veronica, is a great dwarf evergreen shrub with burgundy colored stems and glossy leaves. At one to two feet tall and wide, this hebe makes a great low border shrub and is striking in mass plantings. Purple flowers in summer attract hummingbirds and bees, and charm gardeners as well. Caledonia hebe is compact enough to thrive in container planters, adding year-round color and textural interest.
