Haworthiopsis attenuata 'Zebra'

Nowhere is the nomenclature of plants more confusing than houseplants, many of which are native to Africa. 'Zebra' used to be classified as Haworthia, but has now been moved to Haworthiopsis due in part to differences in the opacity of the leaves (yeah, whatever). By any name, 'Zebra' is one succulent well worth including in one's indoor garden. White wart-like bumps cover the outside of the pointed, upright leaves that form a stemless rosette. Pups will form at the base of happy plants, eventually creating small colonies. Under optimal conditions, 'Zebra' will sometimes send up long slender stems topped by a flower, usually in the fall or winter.
This is a low-maintenance plant and will often suffer if too much TLC is administered.   As is true of all succulents, too frequent watering/standing water will rot the roots, so water deeply but infrequently and provide as much indirect light as possible.
