Though this dainty trailer appears to be a variety of Tradescantia, it's actually an entirely different plant. Commonly known as Tahitian Bridal Veil (Purple form), it trails beautifully from hanging baskets, and pairs nicely with taller houseplants in a mixed container planter. Given sufficient light, it will send out small white flowers throughout the growing season, providing a nice contrast to the purple foliage.
