Ficus pumila var. quercifolia

We think it's a bit of stretch to call this ficus String of Frogs, and feel Miniature Oakleaf Fig is a much more descriptive, if less imaginative, common name. It is absolutely adorable (yes, plants can be so) and is the perfect indoor ground cover or terrarium plant. True to its nature, this ficus does best in a well-lit room, though it can handle lower light. It loves humid environments, and does best with regular watering, but not soggy roots. Use this String of Frogs as a trailer in an indoor hanging basket or terrarium, and keep out of reach of chewing fur friends.
