Euonymus japonicus 'Chollipo'

'Chillopo' euonymus is a tough, fast-growing evergreen shrub and is an excellent subject for topiaries, or as a privacy hedge. Normally, we state that a plant is drought-tolerant once established, with the understanding that we mean in the ground. Even in a large container, this euonymus can handle a missed watering and actually performs better with underwatering than overwatering. Full sun will bring out the brightest colors and periodic pruning will keep 'Chillopo' at a manageable size. Otherwise, it can easily grow to 12 feet in height and 6 feet wide.
