Product Description
Product Description
One may ask why anyone would want to grow thistles in one's yard, but once you see 'Hobbit' sea holly, it makes perfect sense. Yes, it's prickly when in full bloom but it's cute as, well, a hobbit, and pollinators love it. The steely-blue thistle-like flowers are in fact charming and make an interesting addition to hanging baskets and container planters, as well as summer bouquets. Tough enough to handle our Pacific NW winters, 'Hobbit' sea holly is a dependable perennial, returning year after year, and unlike its cousins, stays a tight rounded mound during the growing season.
