Returning year after year, this echinacea bears intense orange blooms from late spring up until frost. Large, eye-catching flowers top clumps of clean green foliage 18 to 20 inches tall and wide, providing a great focal point for container planters, as well as putting on a show in borders and mass plantings. Drought tolerant once established and not a favorite of deer, coneflowers are great in cut flower gardens or dry spots in the garden.
