Echinacea 'Prima Saffron'

Echinaceas are a favorite at the nursery, adding long-lasting color to the garden when other summer blooms are beginning to fade. Drought tolerant once established in the ground, these reliable perennials come back bigger and better, year after year. 'Prima Saffron' coneflower forms a neat mound of greenery about a foot tall and almost twice as wide, and is capped by vibrant saffron colored, daisy-like blooms from June right up until freeze. These are fantastic cut flowers, loved by bees, butterflies, and humans alike, and are usually left alone by deer.
