Large, semi-double flowers that are indeed the color of Mineola tangelos - intensely orange but leaning more toward yellow than red.
Product Description
Product Description
Coneflowers are a boon to the sunny summer garden, with just about every color flower imaginable except blue or black, and tough as nails. Sunseekers® 'Mineola' echinacea produces semi-double flowers that are a rich orange shade very much like the color of Mineola tangelos. Flowers begin appearing in the heat of summer and keep on going right up until fall freeze. Hummingbirds, bees, and other pollinators will flock to these gorgeous flowers all season long. Deadhead to promote a continuous flow of blooms or cut flowers to enjoy in bouquets. As temperatures drop and flower production slows, consider leaving the spent blooms on the plant, as birds will appreciate the seeds throughout winter.
