Dianella revoluta 'Coolvista' 1 Gallon

While many gardeners love the look of true grasses in the growing season, they are less than pleased with them in the cold months when they tend to get "sloppy." Dianella may be a worthy substitute, and 'Coolvista' is indeed pretty cool. Narrow blue-toned, grass-like foliage stays around one to two feet tall and wide, and is hardy down to 10 degrees. Planted in container planters or hanging baskets, it can be sheltered in extreme cold, and will maintain its good looks in milder winters. And unlike grass, 'Coolvista' will send up pale blue flowers in the spring. Dianella is tolerant of coastal conditions and is drought-tolerant once established.
