Product Description
Firecracker plants are one of those summer annuals that gardeners come back for after trying it for the first time, especially if they're trying to attract hummingbirds. Cute, tubular or cigar-shaped flowers bloom from late spring well into fall on well-branching green stems that serve as an excellent filler for baskets and container planters. 'Cherrybells' stays a tidy foot tall and a bit wider, so it can stand on its own as well. Cuphea thrives in the heat of summer and requires little maintenance other than regular water and fertilizer. Just watch out for hummingbirds. They get kind of possessive around these plants!
