Crocosmia Nova® 'Gold Dragon'

As much as gardeners love crocosmia, a general complaint about the taller varieties is the floppiness of the foliage and flowers. Full sun exposures help, but those large sword-like leaves will eventually start leaning. Nova® 'Gold Dragon' defies that problem and remains upright, even when loaded with golden flowers. Blooms emerge in June and keep going through the dog days of summer. Lovely in the garden and plentiful enough to take cut flowers indoors, the golden blooms are stunning. Fast-growing, 'Gold Dragon' produces multiple crowns that can be divided in the fall or early spring.
