Crassula marnieriana

This unusual looking succulent is a favorite of indoor gardeners because it's just so fun! Tightly stacked green leaves are brushed with hints of red, and bear a resemblance to a necklace of tightly packed beads or a worm, depending upon one's life experiences. The leaves will form stacks up to eight inches tall that may begin to arch downward. This cutie deserves to be seen, up close and personal, so consider growing it in a pot of its own and placing it where it will get maximum light. Water thoroughly, then leave it alone until the top inch of soil is bone dry. Sitting in water will lead to root rot, so be sure to drain off any standing water.
