Though coleuses have traditionally been considered shade plants, many of the varieties we carry in the nursery can traverse the spectrum from full shade to sun. 'Wall Street' coleus actually does better with at least partial sun and tolerates full sun if watered regularly, serving as the main attraction or as a companion plant in container planters, borders, and mass plantings. This variety is a mid-sized variety, growing up to 18 inches tall and wide. Pinch out the tips to promote a bushier profile, and though pollinators love the summer flower stalks, we tend to pinch those out as well.
