Coleus 'Redhead'

Coleus is a popular feature in the spring-to-fall garden, and with good reason. Foliage color can range from a chartreuse green to the deepest of reds, with fascinating color combinations, leaf shapes, and sizes. 'Redhead' coleus is at the red end of the spectrum with dainty, serrated edges. Left unchecked, this variety can grow up to three feet tall and two feet wide, but we suggest pinching out the tips of stems to keep the form more compact and bushy. Use it as a backdrop along borders, in mass plantings, or the centerpiece in container planters and hanging baskets. 'Redhead' can handle shade to sun, and will look its best right up to freeze if watered and fertilized regularly.
