Coleus 'Gay's Delight'

For all the lush green foliage present in the summer months, 'Gay's Delight' coleus stands out with its fresh lime green leaves, veined in black. Able to thrive in sun or shade, this variety will make a splash on its own in borders or in container planters, hanging or otherwise. Leave it alone and 'Gay's Delight' can grow two to three feet tall and up to two feet wide. Pinching out the tips of stems will produce a denser, more compact form, and pinching out the late season flowers will prolong the plant's life. A wonderful backdrop for flowering summer annuals, 'Gay's Delight' would also be a great addition to an all-coleus planter with the wide range of colors and textures that thrive in the summertime.
