Bees and hummingbirds seek out the narrow flower stalks while humans are quick to pinch them out to encourage more foliar growth. And frankly, 'Down Town Miami Magic' is all about the unusual foliage. Narrow, serrated leaves are multi-colored in sometimes random patterns, forming compact mounds. 'Miami Magic' leans towards the lighter, brighter colors of cream, green, pink, and yellow, and complements a variety of summer annuals. Tolerant of sun (with regular watering) and dappled shade, this variety is an excellent choice for container planters and hanging baskets.
