Air purifier, low-maintenance, pet-friendly - these are only a few reasons why Spider plants are such popular houseplants!
Product Description
Product Description
Though we can easily spot a Spider plant, it's often difficult to determine exactly what variety a specimen is, and even growers may have different ideas as to a plant's specific identity. Regardless of the variety, this Spider plant has all the characteristics one could hope for in a houseplant - easy to grow, non-toxic to pets, an air purifier, and quite attractive in a hanging basket by itself or in a mixed planter. As the plant matures, it sends out baby plants on long stems that can stay attached to the main plant or removed and planted in their own pots. Spider plants do best in a well-lit room and generally thrive with benign neglect, i.e. they are happier on the drier side than too wet, and not so much fertilizer.
