Besides being a beautiful specimen with steel-blue foliage, 'Blue Moon Sawara Cypress' has the added bonus of being a low-maintenance conifer. Naturally globose in shape, it requires little pruning to maintain that look, and makes an excellent foundation plant, especially for smaller gardens. It grows best in full and requires regular watering, but that's about it. Eventually reaching four feet in height and width at maturity, 'Blue Moon' is also an excellent bonsai subject.
