Madagascar Periwinkle is a fun summer annual, and the Mega Bloom mix ups the ante with larger than normal, star-shaped flowers, primarily in shades of pink, rose, white, and red. An award winner on both sides of the Atlantic (RHS Award of Merit and All-America Selections), this is a fairly low-maintenance annual suitable for container planters or along sunny borders. Allegedly deer- and rabbit-resistance, Madagascar periwinkle is also drought tolerant once established, with improved disease resistance.
