Product Description
Product Description
In spite of its mature size, this specimen is considered to be suitable as a street tree in the Portland metro area, as it tolerates urban pollution and compacted soil, though it's too tall to be planted under power lines. The one caveat here is that the planting strip should be at least five feet wide for the tree's optimal health. Within a residential garden, this specimen can used as a seasonal privacy barrier or wind break, and takes well to pruning. Green foliage turns yellow before dropping in the fall.
