Begonia x hiemalis

Though most growers treat Begonia x hiemalis as a houseplant, we have found it to be a wonderful addition to mixed hanging baskets and container planters for the outdoor summer shade garden. Paired with ferns, Japanese forest grass, and shade-loving trailers, you'll have an elegant outdoor basket all summer long. Indoors, Reiger begonias are beautiful on their own, but they can also be combined with other houseplants. Keep these out of reach of chewing pets and little people, as they can cause gastric distress.
