Asplenium antiquum 'Victoria'

Broad strap-like, glossy green fronds set 'Victoria' apart from other ferns, and the ruffly edges make it all the more fascinating. Give this beauty some room to grow, as it may eventually reach two feet in height and width. Though it will tolerate lower light, 'Victoria' will be happier in a well-lit room. Water when the surface soil begins to dry, but not in the center of the rosette, as trapped water could cause root rot. As is true of most ferns, this Japanese Bird's Nest fern is pet-friendly, but it will look much worse for wear if chomped on by curious dogs or cats.
