Armeria pseudarmeria 'Hypnotic Dreams'

Many gardeners have seen the pink sea thrift, and even the white flowered ones, but Dreameria® 'Hypnotic Dreams' thrift is a standout with deep red flowers on upright stalks, blooming from spring right up until fall freeze. Both the blooms and the foliage are larger than Armeria maritima, creating compact mounds about a foot tall and wide. Considered an evergreen, the foliage gets a bit tired looking in the winter, and can be cut back in the fall or late winter before new growth emerges, to tidy it up. Great for coastal gardens, in hanging baskets and container planters, or along sunny borders. Deadheading spent blooms will encourage more flowers - pollinators will appreciate it!
