Product Description
Product Description
Named after a renowned 1930s California horiculturalist, 'Victor Reiter' Sea Thrift is a surprisingly tough perennial, native to North America from California all the way up to Alaska. This armeria thrives in less than ideal soils and can handle coastal conditions with ease, forming dense mounds of grass-like leaves that stay green year-round. Well-draining soil is key, and once established, 'Victor Reiter' Sea Thrift is drought tolerant, growing four inches tall and slowly spreading from eight to 12 inches. Blooms start in the spring and into early summer, with random flowers appearing at other times of the year. Deadheading may encourage additional blooms. This is an excellent choice for xeriscapes, rock gardens, container planters, borders, and hanging baskets.
