Anigozanthos 'Bush Tenacity Yellow'

For lovers of the unusual, Kangaroo Paws may be just the perennial for you. The unique, kangaroo-paw shaped flowers rise up above erect, sword-like green foliage from late spring into summer. Native to Australia, it is drought-tolerant once established and flourishes most in full sun. This perennial is the perfect size for container planters and borders, with foliage growing just over a foot tall but with flowers rising up to two feet. Cold tolerant to about 20 degrees, 'Bush Tenacity Yellow' should be protected in the winter by moving containers under shelter, or treat as an annual.
