Product Description
Product Description
Aloe vera sometimes takes gardeners by surprise, as it can be a bit finicky about location, especially outside. Surprisingly enough, many cold-sensitive succulents, including Aloe veras, don't appreciate sun during the hottest time of the day. Dappled all-day sun or protection during the hottest time of the day will keep an outdoor aloe happy. And when the temps drop below 60 degrees, best to bring aloes indoors, or keep them inside year-round, provided you have a very well-lit room.
A happy aloe may soon start to sprawl outward, along with sending out multiple pups. The parent plant can get unwieldy and some gardeners opt to start fresh with the pups and use the old aloe's leaves for medicinal purposes.
