Acacia cognata 'Cousin ltt'

'Cousin Itt' acacia is such an amazing specimen with narrow leaves on dense, semi-pendulous branches, we in the Pacific NW struggle with the idea of relegating this tender evergreen to the indoor garden. When the weather is warm, this Australian native does fine in a sunny outdoor location, but it's too tender to handle our wet, cold winters. Consider growing this shaggy-headed acacia in a container so it can enjoy our summer sunshine, then move it indoors when the temps drop. Indoors, give it as much indirect light as possible or station it beneath a grow light until outdoor temps go back up into the 60s.
