'Lucky Lantern Red' Abutilon is usually treated as a tender perennial here in the Pacific NW. Hardy down to 10 degrees, it will most likely lose its leaves in the winter if left outside. Consider growing this dwarf beauty in a container planter or hanging basket to bring indoors during the cold months, or move under the eaves to give it added protection. Nicknamed Flowering Maple for its lush maple-leaf shaped foliage, 'Lucky Lantern Red' has beautiful deep red flowers that hang like lanterns, showing off all summer long.
