The Japanese Tassel Fern is an evergreen fern with elegant deep green foliage that forms a vase shape about two feet tall and wide. It's so named because the fiddleheads will flip backwards temporarily when opening, forming a tassel. This is a wonderful background plant for shady gardens or as a "filler" for container planters or hanging baskets.
