A shrub-like philodendron with irregular, deeply cut leaves that can tolerate less than ideal conditions and thrives in well-lit rooms.

CloseFor those who love the look of Monsteras but lack the room, consider this philodendron as an attractive alternative. 'Lickety Split' has shiny irregular, heavily split leaves and will eventually form a mounding clump about two to three feet tall and up to two feet wide. This specimen is fairly tolerant of less than ideal conditions, handling lower light and drier air, but will look its best when placed in a well-lit room with higher humidity. Periodic misting, especially in the winter when the heat kicks on, or placing the pot on a pebble-filled saucer with water will help combat dry air. With its upright structure, 'Lickety Split' philodendron will be easier to keep out of reach of chewing pets, and would look great on a low stand.
